Pawtch

Pawtch Support

Pawtch is a virtual pet for Apple Watch: you take care of it, it plays with you and keeps you company when you walk, sleep or breathe.

Requirements: Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later.

FAQ

Do its needs drop while the app is closed? Yes, just like a real virtual pet: time keeps going and it lets you know when it needs something. Choose the pace in Settings → Time, and with the bedtime schedule it sleeps at night without asking for anything.

How do my steps take care of it? In Settings → Health, turn on “Use your Health data” and accept the permissions. Your steps, the floors you climb and your Move ring give it health and happiness.

It doesn’t react to my steps or my sleep. On your iPhone, check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Pawtch and make sure the permissions are on. Sleep needs you to wear the watch at night with Sleep set up. Noise needs the Noise app’s measurements turned on.

How do we go for a real walk? Tap the 🚶 button next to your pet, then Start. It’s a walking workout with GPS: it keeps going when you lower your wrist, counts toward your rings and is saved to Health with the route.

How do I blow out the candles? On its anniversary (one week after adopting it and every month) a cake appears. Blow close to the watch or, if you prefer, tap the candles.

Will I lose my data if I change watches? Your pet’s state is stored on the watch. What’s saved to Health (walks and Mindful Minutes) stays with your Apple account.
